Finish Line

Made it to the finish line - woo hoo!
Completed the survey.
So it's goodnight from me and goodnight from her.

Now it's business time........

Week 9

Podcasts, Video & eBooks
Went to YouTube and had a look around.
Found a lot of time-wasting videos.
Thought you might like to look at this one.
My son made it and it's about NZ TV History.
It's quite cute you're bound to enjoy it.
My son is a genius and I know where he gets it from.

Checked the ebooks and had a look at the podcast tutorial.
All done so bye for now,

nice talkin' to ya.

Week 8

Online Applications and Tools
My flatmates have used these types of sites before.
They say they they prefer the funtionality of these better than microsoft.
Signed up to Zoho writer - (more passwords - groan).
Had a fiddle.
Probably wouldn't have the need to use these types of sites but good to know the exist.

Week 7

Social Networking.
Had a look at My Space and Bebo. Don't know anyone.
Couldn't find anyone when searching. Lots of 'diffferent' people tho.
I can see the benefits and the attraction but I don't have the time to fiddle about with these sorts of things. I barely have time to check my email these days!
I need a website that stops time......
That'd be useful!

Week 6

Tagging, Folksonomies & Technorati.
Bit of a mouthful but not that difficult.
Had a look, got the message.

Thanks

Week 5

Wikis - If you say wiki over and over really fast it sounds like you are 'scratching'.
For those of you who don't know what that is I am not gonna explain.
But this pic is a clue or go to this wiki and all will be revealed.

Out of time, got ta go.

P.S. Wonder Woman and Ms. Marvel have decided to join together and use their powers for the benefit of all YA's.

Nothing can stop them now!

Week 4

Adding photos was easy. Finding them was hard.
Can't access much on the work PC. (Groan.)
So here are a couple of pictures that caught my eye
from the brief selection I was allowed to view.

Some questions have recently arisen over Ms. Marvel vs Wonder Woman.
(Whose real identities shall remain secret.)
What do you reckon? Cast your vote in my new poll.

Generators

Well completed week 3 in record Superman time
(or should that be Ms. Marvel time?)
Love this pic of Ms. Marvel by Greg Horn.
His artwork is the s---!

But I have been having problems with pages being 'blocked'. (Grrrr)
Wasting my time. So now I am at home.
The boy has fixed up a laptop and connected it to the internet in the lounge with a long blue cable. Smart boy.
So now I can sit in my chair, do this and watch TV. Multi-tasking on!

Had a bit of a fiddle with the name generators and got some funny
if not spookily accurate 'names'.

My hobbit name is Pansy Sandybanks. Still trying to work that one out.

My princess name was highly appropriate -
Princess Katarina, the Saintly Swan of Sanland.
Can they see me?!!

RSS

Hmmm...
RSS!
Well what a mish!
Took a very long time to set up the RSS links. Pages not loading - Buttons disappearing.
And a lot of 'computer say's no'. (You'll have to watch Little Britain if you want to get that reference.)

Any hoo after a lot of bleep bleep curse words and a large portion of hair missing from the left side of my head, I have completed Week 2.
Now Elvis is leaving the building.
Til next. Same Bat time and same Bat channel.......

It's my first time!

Hey,

It's my first time! Yeah right!
No really this is my first blog and for someone like me who has a lot to say for themselves I am oddly lost for words. That'd be a first I hear you all saying... Stop laughing.
I am not sure that I have anything profound to say.
Like 'All roads lead to somewhere, Grasshopper'.

Anyway, I digress. So far this web 2.0 thing is easy enough.
Sounds harder than it is but everything usually does.
So feet first and don't look back.
